The Space & The Cat
A home built around calm, cats, and intention.
MeowHaus is a private room in a quiet, thoughtfully lived-in penthouse in Hennur, Bangalore. We live in the same home with our senior cat Kaalo and our baby. This is a shared home — warm, respectful, and intentionally calm.
If you're looking for a hotel or an OYO-style stay, MeowHaus may not be the right fit. If you enjoy lived-in homes, gentle routines, and sharing space with a cat — you'll feel very comfortable here.
Kaalo is a senior indoor cat — calm, friendly, and mostly found napping in a patch of light. He is very much part of this home. If you're allergic to or uncomfortable around cats, this may not be the right stay for you. His presence is non-negotiable, and we appreciate your honesty with yourself about that.

Guest Kitchenette
The main kitchen on the second floor is not shared. A compact guest kitchenette on the first-floor balcony is available for light cooking — stove, fridge, basic utensils, and an electric kettle. Pots and pans are stored inside the house on the first floor.
Guests are welcome to use the refrigerator and enjoy meals on the first-floor balcony. Please wash and return all utensils after use and dispose of trash in the bin provided.

Please keep noise levels low and be considerate of others. This is a shared home with a baby and a senior cat — calm is the default.

No Smoking Indoors
Strictly prohibited inside the property. A ₹5,000 fine applies for violations.

No Shoes Indoors
Please remove footwear at the entrance. Kaalo walks these floors — keep them clean.

Respect Kaalo
Kaalo is a resident, not an amenity. Please do not chase, startle, or disturb him — and never let him exit through the main door or onto the balcony. His safety comes first.

Visitors are not permitted inside the house. You're welcome to meet them on the first-floor balcony before 9:00 PM.

Please do not flush sanitary waste or toilet paper. Use the dustbin provided. Dispose of trash in the bin next to the refrigerator.

Turn off AC, lights, and fans when not in use. Please be mindful of water usage.

Light snacks and drinks are fine. Please avoid full meals in the bedroom to prevent odours and stains. Avoid storing strong-smelling items in the fridge.

Is Kaalo always around?
Kaalo lives here and you will likely see him multiple times during your stay. He's calm and mostly spends his day napping — but his presence is genuine, never arranged. Encounters happen on his terms.
Can I bring my own pet?
No pets are permitted. This is to ensure Kaalo's comfort and safety in his own home. We appreciate your understanding.
Is parking available?
Outdoor parking is available on our lane, included in your stay. We also recommend cabs or autos for getting around Bangalore — traffic can be unpredictable.
How do I book the coffee or photoshoot?
Both are available as add-ons during your stay. Message us after booking and we'll arrange it. Coffee can be requested any morning; photoshoots are best booked at least a day in advance.
What is included in the stay?
Clean linen, towels, Wi-Fi, drinking water, weekly room service, waste disposal, lane parking, and weekly laundry. A guest kitchenette with stove, fridge, kettle, and basic utensils is available on the first-floor balcony. Board games are available for relaxed evenings in.
How far is MeowHaus from key areas?
We're in Hennur — 3 km from Manyata Tech Park, 10 minutes from Kammanahalli, and approximately 33 km from Kempegowda International Airport. The neighbourhood is residential and quiet — a genuine break from the city's pace.
What's the neighbourhood like?
Hennur is a calm, residential area with easy access to Hebbal Lake, Cubbon Park, Bangalore Palace, Indiranagar, and Frazer Town. Good South Indian breakfast spots, cafés, and local markets are all close by.
Is there elevator access?
The penthouse is on the second floor with no elevator access. Please keep accessibility requirements in mind when booking.
How do I get in touch?
Before booking — all communication via the Airbnb app. After booking — we're available via call or text. During your stay — feel free to say hello. We enjoy hosting respectful, like-minded guests.
